International Vulture Programme

Facing danger - the Griffon Vulture

Trotters supports the work of the International Vulture Conservation Programme.

Vultures are an ecologically vital group of birds that face a range of threats. Many populations are under pressure and are facing extinction. The International Vulture Conservation Programme is a growing partnership of supporters that enables a range of projects in southern Africa and south Asia.

At Trotters we have two kinds of Vulture, the African and the Rupells Griffon Vulture that are ambassador species to help us raise awareness for their wild relatives.

Long term support is vital for the conservation management of these species.
